Michael Keeney is multi-award winning producer, composer, musician and orchestral arranger born in Donegal, Ireland and working internationally in the music industry for over 25 years.

He is based in a private production facility in Bangor, Northern Ireland and continues to work out of larger scale studios when necessary in locations including London, Dublin, LA, Sydney, and Donegal.

He is the winner of 2 x UKMPG awards, the Huddersfield Festival Composers Award and as producer has won The Norhthern Irish Music Prize having been nominated 4 times.   He has also received nominations for a Royal Television Society Award, British Animation Award, Irish Meteor Award among others.   He sits on the board of The Ulster Orchestra and is the current "Industry Professional" liaison to the music department at Queen's University in Belfast.  He is a member of the Ivor's Academy, the UKMPG and the Screen Composers Guild of Ireland.
